studio16:19 was tasked by the Client to provide general landscape design and signage services for the newest Round Rock single-family, master planned community: Gardens at Mayfield Ranch. studio16:19 provided overall tree mitigation services across the site, preserving as many existing trees as possible, and supplementing with compatible new species throughout. The entry landscape at both entrances, as well as the individual lot and detention pond landscape designs, were thoughtfully designed with low-impact and low-maintenance in mind. studio16:19 also provided designs and construction details for the wrought iron perimeter fence, two entry gates and associated columns, and entry signage. The large monument sign at the main entry to the community highlights the native Texas stone used throughout the neighborhood, and a large agave placed at the helm signals a sense of arrival.
